It appears that Yousend has a plugin for Outlook that makes the task of sending big files to quite simple and intuitive.
All you have to do is to set your Yousendit account configuration settings and then open a new message and use the Yousendit ribbon to attach new files. The moment the message is sent, you will see a progress bar that indicates the progress of the file upload.
